D. Elmina Davis

"Sister D" Elmina Davis was born the 7th of September 1958
and transitioned on the 4th of January 1995, of malaria in Ghana. She worked with Ceddo Film and Video, a Black Independent Cinema Group of the 1980s in London, the Black Workshop Movement, and WAVES (Women's Audio-Visual Education Scheme.) In 1988 she directed Omega Rising: Women in Rastafari and edited Education is the Key.
