Horace Ove

Horace Ove (born 1939) is a British born filmmaker who came into prominence during the 1960s as part of the Black independent movement in Great Britain. His work consistently holds a theme of Black culture in relation to the struggle for civil rights. such works include Baldwin's Nigger(1968). His 1975 film Pressure; holds the Guinness World Record for being the first Black British film-maker to direct a feature length film.
