Khyentse Norbu
Bio
Born in 1961 in Bhutan, Khyentse Norbu (a.k.a. Dzongsar Khyentse Rinpoche) was recognised as the main incarnation of the Khyentse lineage in Tibetan Buddhism. Trained in all main schools of Tibetan Buddhism, Khyentse Norbu also had his academic pursuit in U.S.A., studying politics and filmmaking. He was consultant of Bernando Bertolucci when the later was making the film "Little Buddha". In 1999, Khyentse Norbu made his directorial debut, and Bhutan's first film, The Cup.
